About SIdO: The second edition of SIdO, the professional showroom of the Internet of Things, took place on April 6 & 7 in Lyon. SIdO has become the event for the Internet of Things in France and in Europe, thanks to 5.300 professional visitors (+26% versus 2015), 200 exhibitors (+33% versus 2015), and a complete program of 50 conferences on Strategy – Stakes – Techno and Uses.

ClouT members from CEA-Leti had a booth in the AIOTI village together with COSMOS, VITAL, ALMANAC and FIESTA, EU funded projects in IoT domain.
SIdO event gathered more than 5300 professionals, including big international names such as: Amazon web services, Microsoft, Orange, ThingWorks, Eurotech, ARM, Atmel, Avnet, Deutch Telecom, Gemalto, Huawei, LeGrand, Microsoft, NXP, Oracle, Orange, Red Hat, Schneider Electric, Semtech, Sigfox, Sopra Steria, ST Microelectronics, Texas Instruments, Thales, Thingworks, etc.

Smart City Panel organization
Within the SIDO (European IoT professional event) ClouT booth in AIOTI village, it was also the opportunity to organize a panel “European Innovation for citizen-centric smart cities” panel, the session has focused on citizen driven innovation supported by local business and developer ecosystem, which is the key for smart sustainable cities.
The panel was composed of Gilles Betis (EIT Digital – Mobility & Smart City), Grégory Blanc-Bernard ( Grand Lyon) Jean Philippe Clément (Ville de Paris), Hervé Rannou(CityzenData) and chaired by Levent Gürgen (CEA LETI, ClouT project EU coordinator).
