Genova Civil Protection meeting

Genova Internal Meeting was held on 2nd September at the Matitone Palace (10° Floor) –Via Di Francia.

The main objective of this meeting was to present the first results of the ClouT project to local stakeholder, in particular Civil Protection public involved in the first field trial. Twelve persons from Informativi System Department and Civil Protection have contributed to the success of the meeting. The head of the Civil Protection Mrs. Bocchiardo was very impressed with the results.

For Genova’s team it has been a wonderful opportunity to meet the first beta testers of “IoNonRischio” among them we want to thank Corrado Ragucci for his very important contribution in the brain-storming process.

There were four thematic priorities: Use Case and User Requirements, User Interface of the Application, Integration with other sensors platform and for last surveys provided by the ClouT Project.

Eng. Danilo Bertini emphasized the importance of ClouT project to achieve IoT development with a system able to take advantage of Cloud Computing. In the last part of the meeting, the staff expressed the future challenge and synergies in IoT field for Genova city.
