This application domain relates to the various applications build over the sharing of information and sensor data provided by users through mobile devices (mainly Smartphone). Participatory Sensing, aiming at creating a glue among the City services and the citizens, whom are called to be producers of information and request, not just consumers of information and data. This dual role, often call as “prosumer” will challenge the City ICT infrastructure to being able to collect, evaluate and manage the wave of data and requests that will come from the citizens and then redistribute them intelligently based on non-trivial policies.
In this scenario citizens may utilize their mobile phones/tablets also to publish the occurrence of any type of event in the city, ranging from cultural acts and exhibitions to malfunctioning city services, from traffic jams and alternative paths to damaged city furniture or early warning from catastrophes, right through their favourite social media.

Objectives of ClouT participatory citizen mobile application :
i) Send city-related events (cultural acts, malfunctioning city services, damage city furniture, traffic incident)
ii) Events addressed by Municipality (status of the incidence to be solved)
iii) Subscribe to notifications associated to a specific topic (e.g. traffic) or a determined geographical area (nearby the user)
