ClouT：日欧合同でのICTプロジェクト
ClouTは，欧州委員会による7th Framework Programme（FP7）および日本の情報通信研究機構（NICT）により研究費支援を受けているプロジェクトです．ClouTコンソーシアムは，日 欧の企業，大学，研究所の強力な連携により構成されています（コンソーシアムの詳細はこちら）．
ClouT プロジェクトのコンセプトは，クラウドコンピューティングを活用することにより，「モノのインターネット」と「人のインターネット」を「サービスのイン ターネット」を通してつなぐことです．これにより，あらゆる情報源を活用し，つなぎ協調させるプラットフォームを確立させ，街がより「スマート」に，エネ ルギー管理や経済発展などの課題に取り組む力を産み出します．ことができるようにします．ClouTプロジェクトは，自治体，市民，サービス開発者，アプ リケーションインテグレーターといった異なるステークホルダーが利用する基盤，サービス，ツール，そしてアプリケーションを提供します．これらは，モノの インターネットおよびクラウドコンピューティングにおける最新の技術を活用して，ユーザのためのアプリケーションを構築，展開，管理するためのものです． ユーザ中心のアプローチにより，エンドユーザも，自分たち自身のためにサービスを作成し，他のユーザと共有することができるようになります．
